I began my relationship with Kids Directory in 1998 when I was working at a shop that Don called on for advertising. He spoke to me about possibly going to work for Kids Directory but I ended up buying the Baby and Childrens shop I was working for instead. I then became an advertising customer of Don then later Kari.

In 2002 I closed my shop and went to work for DFW West Kids Directory as a sales rep. I had worked previously in ad sales for a newspaper and felt my experience with Kids Directory as an advertiser would bring a plus to my sales when I spoke to potential advertisers about something I had tried myself and truly believed in. The rest is history. I have been with Kids Directory ever since. My daughter Lori is over distribution of the west directories. Many months throughout the year I help Lori with deliveries, dropping off directories so I can have an opportunity to visit with customers face to face getting to know them on a more personal level and search for new advertisers as we travel the routes of distribution.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Donnie, for 44 years. We have two children, Lori and Todd. Most importantly we have SIX talented, smart and most of all, beautiful granddaughters. Family is very important to me. I saw that in Don and DFW Kids Directory. That was one of the things that helped me make the choice to go to work for him. I've seen the book go through changes along the way but the prices have stayed customer friendly and I still believe it is still the best advertising for the money you can find in the metroplex. That is why I continue to be here.
