2018 Christmas on the Square Tree lighting Ceremony

Christmas on the Square Tree lighting Ceremony will be celebrated on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 5:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. Ceremony will start at 5:30 PM and it is a Garland Christmas tradition that brings all families together to the city square. It is celebrated with hot chocolate, performances, carolers, and more. Over 100,000 lights will be dancing the nights away to holiday music during the Holiday season. Christmas on the Square is open nightly from November 29 through December 31. You can visit Santa on Dec 1, 8, and 15 from 7 PM - 9 PM at the Santa House on The Square.

Jingle Bell 5K Run

The Naaman Forest Class of 2019 will be hosting the 10th Annual Jingle Bell Run and are accepting donations to support the Garland Pet Adoption Center. You can check out the donation list here.

46th Annual Richardson Christmas Parade

The Theme for this years annual Christmas Parade will be a Seussical Christmas. Based off of Dr. Seuss Children’s stories musical. They will also be honoring The Family of David Sherrard, Richardson’s only fallen officer, as our Grand Marshals.

The minature trains at Northpark are such a delight to see. The 1,600 feet of train track takes you through popular landmarks such as, New York, Washington D.C., And our beautiful city of Dallas, TX and more.

Santa’s Toy Shop Puppet Show

Mr. Scrooge is not the only one putting on a show at Northpark Center. Santa’s toy shop comes to life to tell the story of how Santa distributes the toys to all the little girls and boys.

Salvation Army Angel Tree Celebration and Reindeer

This is a big celebration including none other than the Dallas Cowboys rhythm and Blue Dancers and drumline, bands, Santa, and other holiday characters. There will also be Santa’s reindeer corralled in Reindeer Park (CenterPark Garden) for special photo opportunities from 11AM-2PM, in addition to holiday-themed crafts for all ages.

You can now purchase tickets for bleachers at the annual Dallas Christmas parade. You can check out the website for tickets here. If you don’t want to purchase tickets you can bring a blanket and get there early to catch the show.

DFW Tamale and Christmas Festival

This is the 4th annual festival celebrating tamales, Christmas in Texas, vendors with unique gifts for everyone on your Christmas list. Santa will be in the market to take pictures and 98.7 KLUV will also be there providing all the Christmas music you can handle.

Enchant Christmas Lights at Globe Life Park

Features the world’s Largest Christmas Light Maze and not only that but Eddie the elf has hidden 8 Christmas gifts that require your help to find in order for them to be delivered on time.
