We Grow More Than Just Pumpkins:Experience The Joys Of Harvest & Fall This Month At Country Critters

Country Critters Farm, a family-operated farm, prides themselves on providing a fun family friendly environment for all ages, in which people can come from all over the state of Texas to enjoy all the wonders of Fall. They truly roll out the carpet for a sensational autumn experience for folks young and old. During the month of September, Country Critters Farm begins its transformation with glittering foliage on its still-lush trees. Colors of amber, red, orange and yellow dot the farm for the perfect fall backdrop. It's a trip back in time that transports visitors far from the trappings of modern city life.

The best pumpkin farm around, hands down and we have been to several around . Pumpkin displays litter this farm with the charm and delight of Fall’s best offerings.  The pumpkins were beautiful and there were are so many to choose from. There’s something special about picking out a pumpkin from a pumpkin patch, rather than a grocer. The joy and experience of the kids being able to choose their own pumpkin from the patch and seeing actual pumpkin vines growing. Wagons are waiting nearby to be loaded with the best pumpkins around.

The highlight of this harvest-centric wonderland might be the awesome petting zoo. What’s a farm without live animals?  They have a petting zoo featuring a cow, donkey, pigs, goats, sheep, and a rabbit. Animals frolicking with delight in their cozy, warm pens.

The Farm has something for all ages, kids, grandparents, parents and more. There is so much to do, we have to go back a second time.  Guests can experience the bounce houses, a newly redone playground area, a pony ride, petting zoo, barrel train ride, a new hayride trailer, wooden maze, duck races (ducks are $1), The Story Teller, Game areas and so much more.  Also, each paying child gets to pick a pie size pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch and decorate with markers.

Country Critters Farm offers complimentary parking and is located just 45 minutes outside of Dallas. A short trip for amazing Memories. This Fall Harvest inspired farm is the perfect jump start to anyone’s autumn celebration. The pumpkin patch begins on September 29th and will run through November 11th.  I highly recommend joining them for some ole’ fashion fun for the whole family.
